Frontend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Frontend Developer with strong experience in WordPress and Shopify development to join our team. You’ll be working closely with our design, backend, and product teams to build responsive, user-friendly, and visually stunning e-commerce websites. If you're familiar with React or eager to expand your skills in it, that's an added bonus!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI designs while ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Customize themes, plugins, and templates in both WordPress and Shopify to meet client specifications.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and manage data flow between the frontend and backend.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, ensuring high performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement best practices in frontend development to ensure accessibility, usability, and SEO optimization.
• Continuously improve and update web applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend technologies, including React, and apply them to ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on WordPress and Shopify.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with React or willingness to learn and work with it on future projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Good communication skills in English (Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian is a plus).

• Knowledge of SEO best practices for frontend development.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, image optimization).
