SEO Specialist

Job Description

Power Commerce is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to enhance website performance, boost organic growth, and implement effective SEO strategies. This full-time role in Sarajevo offers a chance to work on cutting-edge e-commerce projects, collaborate with a talented team, and make a significant impact on the company’s digital presence and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content creation and strategy.
• Develop, implement, and manage on-page SEO strategies including optimizing meta tags, headers, and content.
• Execute off-page SEO strategies such as link building and partnerships to improve domain authority.
• Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Track and report on SEO performance metrics and KPIs (traffic, rankings, conversions).
• Work closely with content and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across the site.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry news to ensure strategies are aligned with current best practices.
• Provide recommendations for improving user experience, site speed, and overall technical SEO.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO efforts into broader campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO practices, tools, and techniques (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, sitemaps, robots.txt, and crawlability.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
