The Challenge
Get Keyto needed a significant upgrade to its digital platform to enhance customer experience and drive more engagement. The existing infrastructure lacked the necessary tools for advanced subscription management, upselling opportunities, and seamless user navigation.
Keyto required the development of a custom “My Account” portal, integration with Recharge for managing recurring subscriptions, and advanced features to drive up-sell opportunities while maintaining a consistent and on-brand customer journey.

What We Did
Our scope of work for Get Keyto included the following key services:

Custom My Account Portal Development
We began with a strategy session to determine the specific functionality and user controls that would enhance the customer experience. Based on these insights, we designed and developed a custom My Account portal within Shopify, providing a seamless, on-brand user experience for subscription management. Our design team created high-fidelity static mockups for both desktop and mobile versions, allowing the Get Keyto team to visualize and provide feedback before development began.

Advanced Recharge API Integration
We integrated Recharge into the My Account portal using its API to provide customers with full control over their subscriptions without needing to redirect to Recharge-hosted pages. This integration allowed users to perform key actions such as editing, canceling, skipping, or pausing their subscriptions. It also supported up-sell features, such as offering one-time add-ons or encouraging customers to upgrade to an annual membership, all within a consistent brand experience.

Upsell and Subscription Add-On Modules
We developed several modules to enhance upsell opportunities. These modules allowed non-members to be up-sold to a Keyto membership, offered one-time purchase items, and promoted subscription add-ons that followed a subscribe-and-save model. We also implemented a cancellation flow that included promotional offers or options to skip or pause to help reduce churn. The goal was to increase customer lifetime value and retain as many customers as possible.
Hosting Setup for Recharge Integration
The advanced integration with Recharge required external hosting, which we set up in Keyto’s existing Heroku environment. This ensured the smooth functioning of all Recharge-related processes and actions within the custom My Account portal.
Design Revisions and Client Collaboration
Our design process included multiple rounds of revision to ensure that the final output aligned perfectly with Get Keyto’s brand vision and user expectations. Each design round provided an opportunity for Keyto to give feedback and request changes, helping ensure the portal was exactly what they needed.

Our work with Get Keyto transformed their digital platform, creating a streamlined subscription experience that increased customer retention by 50% and boosted upsell conversions by 30%. Through a custom My Account portal, full Recharge integration, and tailored upsell opportunities, Get Keyto’s users can now easily manage subscriptions and access personalized offers that enhance their health journey.
