The Challenge

Vegamour needed to enhance its digital platform to better support the growing complexity of its subscription-based business model. The existing setup needed an overhaul of product and subscription structures, improvement in backend operations, and a custom user dashboard for seamless subscription management.

What We Did

Our scope of work for Vegamour included the following key services:

Recharge & Product Structure Clean-up

We started by analyzing Vegamour's existing product structure and Recharge setup to identify any bottlenecks that were impacting the dashboard's performance and user experience. This included restructuring product setups to eliminate sequencing problems and improve product categorization, ensuring a better functioning dashboard.

Custom Subscription Dashboard

We worked with Vegamour to build a customized subscription management dashboard integrated with Recharge, allowing users to manage their subscriptions easily. This included enabling functionality such as switching between plans, changing subscription frequency, skipping deliveries, and ensuring the correct reorder count for switched products. We ensured the dashboard was both visually aligned with Vegamour’s brand and functionally intuitive.

Design Phase & Revisions

Our design team provided static mockups of the 'My Account' page and other relevant dashboard features for Vegamour to review. We incorporated their feedback through two rounds of revisions, ensuring the final output met their expectations and maintained consistency with the brand's aesthetic.

API Integration with Recharge

To enhance the subscription management experience, we built API integrations between Vegamour's Shopify store and Recharge. This allowed a deeper connection, ensuring users could modify their subscriptions directly through the Shopify-integrated dashboard without needing to leave the site. This integration also helped in managing data flow seamlessly between Shopify and Recharge.

Product and Inventory Alignment

We worked on aligning product SKUs and inventory across Shopify and Recharge, ensuring accurate tracking and eliminating inconsistencies that were causing operational inefficiencies. This also included disabling certain products, such as no-charge items, from being found during customer searches, thereby preventing confusion and misuse.

Quality Assurance and Launch

After development, we conducted a comprehensive QA process, including test transactions and mobile responsiveness testing, to ensure all dashboard features worked as intended. Once both teams were comfortable with the functionality and performance, we launched the new subscription dashboard and updated links in automated emails to guide customers to the correct management page.
