The Challenge

BIOHM Health needed to revamp their ecommerce website, biohmhealth.com, to better serve their customers and reflect their growing product line. The project involved redesigning core pages, enhancing the user experience, and ensuring a seamless transition from the old design to the new one while maintaining brand integrity.

The redesign needed to incorporate improvements to conversion rate optimization (CRO) and mobile responsiveness, making the new site more engaging and easier to navigate for customers.

What We Did

Our scope of work for BIOHM Health included the following key services:

Pre-Design Analysis and CRO Improvements

Before beginning the design phase, we conducted an in-depth pre-design analysis of the existing website’s user interface and analytics. We installed heat mapping tools to identify areas for CRO improvements based on customer behavior, which helped guide the redesign to ensure that the new layout would boost engagement and conversions.

Custom Page Design and Development

We focused on redesigning three critical pages: the Home Page, Collections Page, and Product Page. These pages were designed to better accommodate the expanded product offerings while ensuring that large sets of product information were presented in easily digestible sections. We provided static mock-ups for client review, and conducted two rounds of design revisions for each page based on feedback.

Mobile Responsiveness and Quality Assurance

We developed both desktop and mobile-specific mock-ups to ensure that the new layouts were fully responsive. We focused on improving the navigation capabilities, making the website more user-friendly across all devices. Our QA process included extensive cross-browser compatibility testing and a soft launch, followed by a 60-day bug-fixing window to address any issues that arose post-launch.

Advanced Recharge Integration

To enhance the subscription experience for customers, we integrated Recharge’s API, providing a custom My Account page that allowed users to manage their subscriptions directly from the Shopify platform. This provided greater transparency and flexibility for customers, enabling them to make changes to their subscriptions easily.

Interactive Homepage Experience

We created an interactive section on the homepage to guide customers in finding the products best suited for their needs. This feature was designed to improve the user experience by making it easier for customers to navigate through product options and understand which products would benefit them the most.
